Job Description

Under the authority of the CEO, the Digital marketing assistant brings organizational support, administrative, logistic on all our “Digital Projects Portfolio”. He or she collaborates with enthusiasm with all staff members on a variety of initiatives and performs multiple administrative tasks related to the proper functioning of the organization.  


Might include:

  • Manage all our Management Information Systems.

  • Handle all the logistics related to our meetings

  • Coordinate all requests from our users regarding our B2B platform

  • Ensure all data entries and assist in BI/Statistics analysis

  • Prepare presentation documents pertinent to our Digital Projects portfolio

  • Follow up certain requests for the registration and use of our B2B Portal

  • Assist in the preparation of certain posts and coordinate the work flow of our  social media production schedule. Collaborate with management to coordinate event programming and communications 

  • Administrative support in the quest for partnership files, advertising placement

  • Prepare correspondences in English and French 

  • Follow-up on invoices and certain project management elements (virtual ads/B2B services).

  • Complete and follow the dashboard for accountability. 

  • Collaborate on our National round Table for Digital Economy Task Force

  • Keep our Zoho/CRM up to date.

About the Company

Eligibility criteria

  • Be between 18 and 30 years old at the start of the internship;

  • Have completed post-secondary studies;

  • Not having previously participated in a digital skills internship program as part of Objectif Carrière;

  • Have the legal right to work in Canada;

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person granted refugee status in Canada;

  • Self-assess as underemployed, that is, they are employed below their level of education or have a part-time job

  • Not to receive employment insurance benefits during the internship;

Terms & Conditions

  • Duration: 28 weeks;

  • Distance work with a flexible schedule (between 8am to 6pm)

  • IT training provided

  • Hourly rate: $ 23 / hour;

  • Dynamic work environment

  • Bilingual position

This internship is a part of ICTC’s Youth Dividend program funded by the Government of Canada under its Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) program. The Youth Dividend program is ICTC’s response to the growing demand for information and communications technology (ICT) and digital professionals.
